Female SEO Specialist to analyze, review, and implement changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines. This candidate will be able to implement actionable strategies that will improve site visibility.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze client sites for areas needing improvement
- Prepare detailed strategy reports
- Create and launch campaigns
- Improve clients ‘rank’ in major search engines
- Conducting on-site and off-site analysis of web SEO competition
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links. Create and execute link building strategy to bring in paid commission for driving customers to their websites.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Develop and integrate content marketing strategies. Write/source compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
- Closely collaborate with the web development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly followed throughout website content.
- Efficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goals.
- Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts. Monitor daily/weekly/monthly performance metrics with SEO tools such as Google analytics/SEMrush to understand SEO strategy performance.
- Perform ongoing keyword research, discovery, and optimization for new SEO keywords to use throughout the company website and marketing materials.
- Employ user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization methods to turn visitors into more active users and to help improve website performance.
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance.
- Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
- Constantly check search terms, rankings, and analytics to monitor the performance of client websites and make recommendations for improvement.
- Keeping up to date with the algorithms set by the search engines to keep up to date with changes.
Skills:
- Proven SEO experience.
- A good understanding of the wider marketing context
- A good understanding of PR and how to get the right messages across to the targeted audience.
- Prior experience in content marketing, content growth, and SEO.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems.
- Experience with website optimization tools (Pingdom, Gtmetrix, schema testing tools).
- Some experience and knowledge of web hosting.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Heatmap tools, Google Trends).
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO. Knowledge of Search engine algorithms and predicting what changes might be coming.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills to educate and inform the managerial team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent knowledge of Excel.
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, and strategically, and identify and resolve problems.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus.
