The Trade manager is responsible for the efficient implementation of services provided to clients. This includes achieving predetermined budgets and targets. He/she also executes duties according to instructions from Trade Managers
Coordinate with any overseas office to obtain rates and to ensure smooth flow of cargo from port of departure/port of arrival.
Respond to RFQs and quotations while maintaining your target margins.
All CMA CGM VAS Products and CEVA X products are available for sale to digitalized customers.
Respond to clients/agents' queries and provide rate quotations as required.
Be familiar with CMA CGM routings and services.
Knowledge of Hazardous cargo and dry/special equipment is essential.
Assure compliance with OFEC/sanctions-related countries.
As required, participate in sales meetings
Distribution to clients of Sailing Schedules and announcements of GRR/BAF variations/service changes
Avoid mistakes with quotes by avoiding reminders
Coordinate with HO/RO on rate quotes and market information, and give proper feedback to Agency management /HO/RO on rate negations.
Minimum 3+ years experience in shipping similar profiles, bachelor's or master's degree
Attention to detail
Fluent in English written and spoken, and a strong grasp of office and IT tools.
