This role is to oversee and supervise a team of dedicated workers and ensure that all work procedures, policies, and standards are followed.
Assist the Team Supervisor to improve and develop overall operations standards.
1 Responsible for the performance and supervision of a dedicated team to ensure that all specifications are met according to departmental KPIs.
2 Responsible for packing Buy-onboard items according to the standard packing list.
3 Responsible for reconciling the Buy-onboard service items on inbound flights. Also reports flight-wise to the cash team.
The cash team should also be notified of discrepancies if they exist.
4 Responsible for supervising the implementation of all instructions and processes within a defined area of responsibility. This includes ensuring that work schedules align with flight activity and providing reports to the line manager.
5. Keep records up-to-date with the latest changes and amendments. Make sure that all due diligence paperwork is completed, and that any corrective actions are taken.
6 Make sure that equipment and property are valued, maintained, and looked after. Any malfunctions should be reported immediately.
7. Ensure quality inspections and periodic inspections of final products are carried out and documented in order to meet standards.
8 Leadership values are used to support and guide the section's teams and foster and mold them.
9 Coordinate with all operational and internal production departments. Team briefings and notice boards are used to communicate with teams and provide direction and feedback.
10 Report, if necessary, misuse or breakage of company property and equipment.
Secondary education with at least 3 years of experience as a Team leader, or a degree with 2 years experience.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience in the inflight catering business as a team leader. Knowledge of the inflight buy-on-board process.
