Description

As the first point of contact for students, the Customer Service Agent is an essential role. They are expected to assist students with academic advice and act as a bridge between Student Services Department customers.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of office administration/customer service
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar positionDesirable:
  • A reputable institution will award a Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferable experience in higher education is prior
  • You will have the opportunity to work with diverse students, faculty, visitors, and staff.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrable oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with a cool and methodical attitude
  • Independence in handling clients' requests and negotiating issues
  • Students and other interested parties can be helped to organize, update and distribute information.
