Proper portion control, food arrangement, and garnish are important. Keep food logs. Keep track of the quality and quantity that has been prepared. Communicate any assistance required during busy times. Notify Chef about any food items that are not in stock for daily specials. Inform Food & Beverage staff about menu specials and out-of-stock menu items. Assure the quality of food items. Cook and prepare food following recipes, quality standards, presentation guidelines, and a food preparation checklist. Prepare cold foods.
Assist the manager in recruiting, training, scheduling and evaluating employees. Follow company safety and security procedures. Report maintenance issues, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to your manager. Complete safety training and certifications. Maintain a professional appearance and uniform; respect confidentiality; protect company assets. Address guests' needs and anticipate theirs.
